Thanksgiving Prep

I have been working like a mad woman the last two days trying to get things ready for Thanksgiving. A huge task in itself, but picture creating and cooking a meal from scratch, cleaning your home and managing two kids 3 and 5 months on your own. It has been a challenge for sure.

I am so lucky though. My little guy has wanted to help so we have had a lot of fun cooking together and spending some extra special mommy and son time together. However, my little princess has been pissed. Normally she is held or played with constantly either by me or Big Brother B, but the last two days she has enjoyed extra time in her bumbo, swing and high chair (note the sarcasm)

We had dinner with my parents and my Grandma tonight. The kids were soaking up the extra attention. My Mom held Gigi all through dinner and my Dad and Braydon played together on the iPad. I tried to catch my Grandma up on what an iPad was. Good times.

Well off to bed. Crossing my fingers that the turkey comes out juicy, the sides are tasty and everyone has a wonderful time.
